Science now proves there is a pill for you to take daily that will reduce stress, improve your relationships, make your brain faster, your sex better, your immune system stronger, give you more energy and love life effortlessly. You in? Well, I have news for you, there is no pill. But there is meditation! The benefits of meditation are way bigger than most people realise. Most people who start meditating and realise the benefits of meditation often keep it to themselves because they don’t want to be made fun of or too many people have put them down in the past. But I am here to let you know some of the most important benefits of meditation in order to persuade you to get started meditating right away.

Because as you continue reading you will begin to comprehend that all the effects I mentioned above really are easily and effortlessly achieved through a simple meditation practice of just 20 minutes per day.

That’s half the time it takes to watch an episode of Game of Thrones or a more effective way to spend your time than scrolling aimlessly through facebook.

The most successful people on the planet today meditate – Oprah Winfrey, Hugh Jackman, Richard Branson, Russell Brand, Ellen Degeneres and the list goes on. Over the years we’ve even been lucky enough to interview and learn from multiple Meditation Teachers like Tom Cronin.

Emotional well-being:

Some of the benefits of meditation emotionally will help to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and will actually boost your serotonin levels, goodbye mood swings. You will begin to notice your patience level skyrocket and the little ol’ lady at the post office that is taking her sweet time, can take even longer, ‘cause you zen AF. And you will begin to see things in a new light, which means you organically react in a calmer way in situations that you would normally find yourself frustrated, annoyed, angry, aggressive.

Mental well-being:

Studies have shown that after just 4 sessions of meditation (YES 4 SESSIONS) it will enhance your cognition and ability to sustain attention. So you will focus better throughout the day, become less distracted by tasks, improve your brain efficiency and not have to rely on stimulants to get you going.

You will without a doubt strengthen your immune system, release suppressed pain/stressors that you have been holding the body, boost your energy levels, increase longevity and balance out your hormones. Studies have also shown that meditation has helped to reduce risks of chronic disease like heart disease and Alzheimer’s, whilst decreasing cellular level inflammation and lowering blood pressure. The benefits of meditation far outweigh any excuse we can throw out there to not do it. And instead of reading about all these great benefits, why not get started and see for yourself.
